More foster kittens!

On December 23rd, I picked up some more kittens to foster for the humane society.  Their previous foster mom was going to be gone for the holidays and they weren't ready to go up for adoption yet so the coordinator asked if I was able to take them.  There are three of them.  A calico/white female, a tabby/white male, and a black/white tuxedo male.

The tabby/white had been sick with a "kitty cold" and had just finished meds.  The black/white kitten had just come down with conjunctivitis in his eye which required drops that I would need to start. They also needed to gain some weight as they weren't big enough to go up for adoption yet, watch for the "kitty cold" to show up in the other littermates, and keep them isolated from our resident kitty.  We could do that.  My DH and I brought them home and got them settled into their new room.  The black/white loves to cuddle, is very sweet, mellow and gentle.  The other two kittens... not so much!  They are, as their previous foster mom said, rowdy!  LOL

The black/white has had eye drops for a week now and his eye is all better, although he's still sneezing regularly.  The others sneeze from time to time, but they are all lively and healthy now.  Just need to continue to fatten them up and hope no new symptoms show up.

This was taken the day they arrived
This was taken today, a week later (the flash is too bright for them)

  1. Wow, have they grown as much in a week as it looks like? So cute! Glad you were able to help them out. :)
