Do you travel with your pets in your vehicle? Whether it is just to the local vet or on a long road trip, safety for all passengers is important. I have heard many heartbreaking stories about pets being loose in vehicles (or outside in truck beds!) that were in car accidents, and the unrestrained pet flies through the windshield of the car. If the pet survives, it then runs into traffic or runs away - only to be hit by a car later or never found. Please restrain everyone in your vehicle, including your pets. Our pets all travel in their crates in the back seat away from the vehicle airbags. I came across this video about different ways to keep your pets safe in the vehicle and thought it had such good information that I wanted to share.
